Build Project Update #3

Our architectural drawings went before the LDR Committee yesterday for final approval…ALL SYSTEMS ARE GO!!! Below is the artists color rendering of the house.

Our next step is permits through Placer County building department.  My understanding is that this could be as fast as 1 week or as long as 8 weeks…depends on the snow melt I guess!  We are still targeting a July 1st to “break ground”…we’ll see.  I am learning that you have to be flexible! 

We had to get a storage unit in Tahoe, as our interior designer has begun “accumulating” interesting/unique pieces.  I found my first piece of substantial furniture yesterday…a beautiful buffet for the dining room. Everything is starting to seem real…let’s start digging!!!!!
